Abstract

Copyright is the prerogativeof the creator or copyright holder to regulate the use of certain works in limiting and preventing unauthorized use of a work. The Creator has rights and obligations to a creation. A creation shall still havelegal protected by law if the work is not registered. To obtain legal force of law in case of violation, the creatures needs to be registered to the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The results showed indicate that the creator of batik motifs Blora understand in protecting his creation. This is indicated by some batik artisans of Blora who have registered the results of his creation and some other batik craftsmen only to rebuke and terminate the working relationship with other artisans who unlicensed imitate his batik motif. In this case aims to get legal protection even without being registered still get legal protection. The existence of this copyright registration, is very helpful for the creators of batik motifs Blora in obtaining the legal power of his creation although the creators of batik motifs Blora as if no matter to the existing rules but things like this need to get more attention.
