Abstract

This study has three objectives, (1) describing the form and function of humor contained in the Webtoon Line, (2) to describe the strategy of writing anecdotal text in learning Indonesian High School Class X, (3) describe the planning of teaching materials of anecdotal text in learning Indonesian High School Class X. The research method used qualitative method. This research starts from March 2017 to July 2017. Research data in the form of humor language that is taken from the data source Line Webtoon. Data collection techniques used in this study using techniques refer to the technique continued record. Data analysis techniques using the pragmatic padan and referential padan. The results of this study there are three. First, the shape and function of the language of humor in the Webtoon Line there are 11 forms of humor and 7 functions of humor in the Webtoon Line. Second, the results of this study in the form of humor language serve as an anecdote text writing strategy using a scientific / scientific approach. The language of humor is used as a strategy for generating ideas to learners by providing examples of the humorous language that will be used by learners in writing anecdotal text. Third, the text in the Webtoon Line is selected based on data that contain elements of cuteness, The text is used as an alternative teaching materials anecdotal text in high school class X in 2013 curriculum realized in KD 4.2 used as teaching materials.
