Abstract

The research is based on the lack of teachers' skills in teaching at SDN KAWATAN No. 19 Surakarta, the learning model used by the teacher is still traditional or mechanistic ie the teacher explained with the makeshift facilities of the blackboard and markers so there is no impression that makes the lesson interesting to the students even Many students are bored. The purpose of this study are (1) To describe the implementation of IT-based learning model in SDN Kawatan No 19 Surakarta To describe the obstacles of implementing IT-based learning model at SDN Kawatan No 19 Surakarta. (2) To describe the solution of the obstacle of implementing IT-based learning model at SDN Kawatan No 19 Surakarta. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) that adapted Arikunto, Suharsimi et al. 2009: 3). The subject of this research is the teacher of SDN No. 19 Surakarta The result of the research using the IT-based learning method shows the improvement of Teacher's teaching skill seen from the improvement of the result of each cycle, Questioning skill, In the pre-action result achieved is 65%, in the first cycle the result reaches 80%, and in cycle II 85%. Skills open and close lessons, on pre-action results achieved 40%. In the first cycle the results achieved 70% and on the second cycle of the results achieved 95%. Skills explain, initially 65%. In the first cycle result 85% and second cycle results achieved 95% .provide reinforcement, The results achieved before the pre action is 60%. In cycle I the result is 85% and in cycle II the result is 85%. The skills of managing the class, The initial result is 40%. In the first cycle results achieved 75% and cycle II 90% Skills using IT-based media, the initial result of 15%.
