Abstract
This study is aimed to (1) describe the structur of Wiji Thukul’s poems, (2) to describe indonesian human imagery on Wiji Thukul’s poems which is watched from semiotic analysis. This research method use descriptive qualitative research method. The research object in this study is human imagery on Wiji Thukul’s poems. The data on this research consist of words on lines and verses in poems of Wiji Thukul. The data resources used in this study are primary resource data. The primary resources used is poems texts on Wiji Thukul’s works such as Puisi Pelo (1985), Mencari Tanah Lapang (1994), Aku Ingin Jadi Peluru ( 2004), Para Jendral Marah-Marah (Tempo 2013) and Nyanyian Akar Rumput (2014). The data collecting uses library technique and recording. This research data is choosen by using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique in this research uses semiotic theories that refers to hermeneutic reading model and heruistic. The result of this research is (1) Wiji Tukhul’s poems structure that consists of (a) poems method : diction, imagining, concrete word, figure of a speech, versification, and typography ; (b) essence of poem : theme, intonation, feeling, and responbility. The poem’s structure shows a need, relevance, and roundness between one and another. (2) Indonesian human image in Wiji Thukul’s poems consist of image (a) mystical urban human image; (b) human town image which is exsistensialistic and absurd; (c) fascistic government image and democratic rebellion; (d) poor human image but has full love; (e) labor exploitation image in capitalistic system; (f) poor human image but has universal solidarity ; (j) power image and human’s not happiness. (3) implementation of human image on Wiji Thukul’s poems as a education material in senior high school that is contained in competition standard of listening 5. Poems understandingthat is delivered directly/indirectly with basic competition 5.2 expressing content of a poem that is delivered directly or trought transcription.
