Abstract

The aim of this study is to improve motivation and student learning outcomes in mathematics through learning strategies flipped classroom. Subjects were students and teachers of class XI MIIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Batang. This research is action reasearch (PTK) and subjects recipients are students of class XI MIIA 3 of 33 people consisting of 11 male students and 22 female students. Subjects perpetrator is a mathematics teacher in class XI MIIA 3 Mother Wachyuningsih, S.Pd. Collection methods used include observation, field notes, interviews, documentation and testing. Analysis techniques used in the study of reduction, presentation and conclusion. From the research that has been done from indicators of motivation and learning outcomes increased math based on reached minimum standard (KKM) amount of 2,66 shows that: (1) students enthusiastically denied and approved the question has increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 in the amount of 57,58% to 78.79%, (2) students enthusiastically working on has increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 amount of 60,61% to 90.91%, (3) students enthusiastic to answer and ask questions has increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 amount of 72,73% to 93.94% and (4) Completed KKM amounted has increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 amount of 60,62% to 100%.
