Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of media in learning and identify the inhibiting factors in the implementation of PAI learning media during the pandemic at SMA Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Kartasura Special Program. This research is a qualitative research with the type of field research (field research) and using a phenomenological approach. The data collection uses interview, observation and documentation methods, while the data analysis method used is descriptive-qualitative, namely describing data using words, pictures and not in the form of numbers with three stages of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study explain the implementation of Islamic religious education learning media during the pandemic, utilizing communication technology media as an online learning medium in the form of a digital platform. From the results of the study, data was obtained that the learning media for Islamic religious education during the pandemic at Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar High School Kartasura Special Program were divided into 4 meetings per week in one month, the first and second weeks using video conferencing with the zoom meeting application and Google meet, the third week and fourth use google classroom, youtube videos and whatsapp. Obstacles that are felt in the form of unstable networks, limited time and minimal supervision of students.
