Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of teachers in imparting anti-corruption education to elementary school students. The subjects in this study were teachers and principals of SDN Jetis 1. The type of research used by the author was research with a qualitative approach. Data analysis in qualitative research with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the teacher's strategy in instilling anti-corruption values in elementary school students went through three stages, namely understanding, habituation and exemplary. The obstacles in instilling the values of anti-corruption education to elementary school students consist of internal and external constraints. Internal constraints such as student comprehension or different levels of understanding of students in understanding anti-corruption values taught by teachers in schools and lack of awareness of students in applying anti-corruption educational values that have been taught by teachers, while external constraints such as the absence of support from the family environment (parent). The solution to overcome internal obstacles is to continue to provide understanding slowly with more diverse ways or strategies. The solution to overcome external obstacles is to coordinate with students' parents so that the anti-corruption value is maximized.
