Abstract
Learning media is one of the components in the learning process that is needed, considering that the position of the media is not just a teaching aid, but rather an integral part of the learning process. This research aims to: (1) Develop learning media products on Indonesian natural condition materials as the basis of flood disaster knowledge, (2) Knowing the feasibility of animation video learning media about related Indonesian natural state materials as the basis of knowledge of flood disasters. This research includes the development (research and development / R & D) with a 4D model that the researcher modified into 3D (define, design, development). The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Learning media developed, assessed feasibility by material experts, media experts, teachers and students. The results of this study are 1) research products in the form of animated video learning media with coverage of Indonesian natural state materials as the basis of flood disaster knowledge, 2) Animation video learning media that has been developed at SMP Negeri 1 Cawas has met the eligibility criteria based on the assessment of material experts getting a score of 3.7 with the category of "good", based on the assessment of media experts getting a score of 4.7 with the category "very good", based on the teacher got a score of 4.1 with the "excellent" category, and based on the 4.4 students with the "excellent" category. This shows that the learning media of animated video is worth using in the learning process and as the basis of flood disaster knowledge.
