Abstract

This study is entitled "The Effect of Investment, Human Development Index and Regional Expenditure on Inter-Regency/City Poverty in EKS Residency Surakarta 2016-2020". The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of each independent variable, namely the effect of investment, human development index and regional expenditure. on poverty in Surakarta Residency in 2016-2020. The data used in this study is secondary data from 2016-2020 which was obtained from various sources including the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical tool used in this research is the panel data method. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables that have a significant influence on poverty are the Human Development Index and Regional Expenditures, while investment does not have a significant effect on poverty in the Surakarta Residency during the period 2016-2020.
