Abstract
The female labor force participation rate (TPAK) is a measure to describe the number of working women. This study aims to determine the factors that influence female labor force participation in Central Java for the period 2015 to 2019. The method used in this study is panel data regression analysis. The cross section data in this study includes thirty-five data representing 35 districts/cities in Central Java Province (i = 35). Meanwhile, five time series data represent annual data, namely observations from 2015 to 2019 (t = 5). The results showed that the Random Effect Model (REM) appeared as the best estimated model. HDI has a positive effect on women's labor force participation rates, while women's education level, poverty level and per capita GRDP have no effect on women's labor force participation. However, this result is still questionable because the estimated Random Effect Model (REM) does not exist and has a very low coefficient of determination.
