Abstract

Central Java Province is one of the provinces that contributes to rice production in Indonesia. This requires the Province of Central Java to continue to increase rice production in order to achieve food self-sufficiency. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the variables of harvested area, food consumption, income level and rice prices on rice production in Central Java Province. The data used in this study is secondary data from 2017 to 2019. The analytical tool used in this study is Panel Data Regression Analysis. Based on the results of Panel Data Regression Analysis, the factors that have a significant effect on rice production are harvested area and food consumption, while the factors that do not have a significant effect are the level of income and rice prices with the coefficient of determination obtained is 72.03 percent.
