Abstract
Tofu factories always have a high potential for danger, so efforts are needed to control and prevent accidents from happening. Layout is also an important factor in an industry. This study aims to minimize the occurrence of work accidents in the attitude of care and must also know about the sources of occupational safety and health hazards in maintenance actions as well as repair the system applied and find out the position of the layout arrangement that is good according to with environmental conditions based on the 5S method. This study uses a descriptive method by outlining the identification and assessment of OHS risks, then the identification and risk assessment data collection is analyzed using the HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control) method and the layout approach is carried out using the SLP (Systematic Layout Planning) approach. The results of the study, there are 34 hazards in the Tofu Factory Bu Ngadinem, with a low category of 64.7%, a hazard with a moderate category of 26.4% and a high risk of 26.4%. The proposed layout of the selected facility shows the length of the path to produce tofu which is 7.3 m long which is an alternative layout 2. Alternative layout 2 was chosen because it has a very efficient value so that the work becomes more effective.
