Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing the analysis of the effect of liquidity, sales growth, leverage, total asset turnover (TATO) with company size as a moderating variable on company profitability. The type of data used is quantitative. Data collection is done by using financial statement data. The samples studied were manufacturing companies listed on the BEI as many as 80 companies. Data analysis using SPSS verson 24.0. The statiscial method used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that liquidity had no effect on profitability. Sales growth has no effect on profitability. Leverage has a negative and significant effect on profitability. Total asset turnover has an effect on profitability. Firm size is not able to moderate the effect of liquidity on profitability. Company size is not able to moderate the effect of sales growth on profitability. Firm size is able to negatively moderate the effect of leverage on profitability. Firm size is able to moderate the effect of total asset turnover on profitability.
