Abstract
The fuel system is a system on the combustion engine that functions to store, distribute, and atomize the fuel so that it is mixed with the air. In diesel engines, the fuel system is divided into three camps, namely Bosch, cummins, and common rail, which each camp has its own advantages and disadvantages. Damage to the fuel system is a common problem that occurs in diesel engines, therefore inspection and repair is needed. The inspection step begins with disassembly of the fuel system, then components that are suspected of being damaged are examined and tested to determine their suitability. After knowing the problems in the fuel system, the damaged components will be repaired or replaced with new components.The results of the inspection on the 6D95L engine is, found damage to the fuel hose, fuel filter, and injector. The three components were replaced with new components because it was not possible to repair them.
