Abstract
TPA Putri Cempo Surakarta is a final waste disposal site which will later be processed if there are some people who seek sustenance from TPA Putri Cempo considered capable as a place to process waste starting from being collected, transported, managed and disposed of, TPA Putri Cempo Surakarta itself which every year experiences an increasing graph down from the acquisition of waste, namely in 2015 to 2020 it had the highest total waste income which occurred in 2018 of 111,836,340 kg while the lowest was in 2015 of 100,267,400 kg. Meanwhile, in 2020 itself, there was a very significant decline, with a total of 107,872,646kg in addition to waste processing carried out by the TPA, there were also scavengers who worked to meet the needs of collecting waste that could be resold such as metal, plastic, bottles, cardboard, etc. later sold to collectors of used goods earning IDR 30,000 – IDR 50,000 / day but with income that can be said to be less able to meet daily needs such as children's school fees, vehicles and some others also rent houses for their needs for daily life. days by eating potluck sometimes only eat one time only. The relationship between scavengers and TPA is equally beneficial, both from the side of scavengers. TPA has no effect because their source of income can be in it, such as collecting leftover waste that is resold, while from the TPA side it becomes faster to sort waste with the help of scavengers.
