Abstract

The impact of virus COVID-19 give us a new activities in community, one of which is the implementation of trials conducted electronically. That rules are needed to organize it, and accordance with the purpose of the law and the principle of law. But in practice it is not effective and there are so many obstacles, such as the lack of good support of the parties and the constraints regarding the location to conduct the hearing electronically for the parties. The issues discussed are the implementation of the trial conducted electronically whether it has fulfilled the objectives of criminal event law and how islamic law views the implementation of electronic hearings. The type of research is non-doctrinal legal research. In this research author using descriptive-qualitative method and deductive thinking methods. The author obtains legal material from interview results, observation of the trial process and conducting literature studies. The final purpose of this research is to provide solutions to law enforcement in carrying out their duties that are carried out electronically in order to run well and can meet the objectives of criminal event law and to know the relevance of the implementation of electronic hearings with Islamic law.
