Abstract
Indonesia as a developing country located in Southeast Asia. There are problems in the population sector, such as the population growth rate which tends to be high at 1.49% or about 4.5 million people increasing every year. This figure is higher than the rate of population growth in developed countries which has a percentage of 1% per year. In dealing with population growth, the government has a Family Planning Program (KB) which aims to improve public welfare and health, reduce birth rates, raise the nation's standard of living, and reduce mortality rates for pregnant women and infants. In its implementation, the government forms the Program of Kampung KB program which is located at the village level area. The research areas located in Surakarta City areKampung KB Pucangsawit and Kampung KB Sondakan. This area was chosen based on the consideration of population growth which increases every year so that it needs to be studied in the implementation of Kampung KB Program. In addition, the Kampung KB Pucangsawit area as the first in Surakarta City then Kampung KB Sondakan was used as a comparison in analyzing the implementation of the program. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the Kampung KB program in the two regions and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors found in the implementation of the Kampung KB Program. This study uses a survey method using a questionnaire with a total of 60 acceptors and 6 stakeholders. The variables studied were ALH, birth spacing, age at first using contraception, and duration of contraceptive use so that an optimization classification of the implementation of the Kampung KB Program was formed which was then linked to the influence of education and income in its optimization. Then a SWOT analysis was carried out to find out the strategies set in the implementation of the Kampung KB program so that the supporting and inhibiting factors of the program could be identified. The results of the study indicate that the Kampung KB Pucangsawit has an optimal classification while the Kampung KB Sondakan has a less than optimal classification. While the education factor affects the implementation of the KB Village Program 97.69%: 92.11%, then the influence of income is 52.15%: 30.20%. The SWOT analysis shows the results of quadrant 1 so that there is an SO strategy to use program opportunities. Supporting factors for the Kampung KB Program include regional conditions according to criteria, work programs with 8 functions including (family, religion, environmental conservation, economy, love, education, socio-cultural and protection), government supervision and facilitation of the program, outreach to the community, there is a good relationship between the community and the government, and there is an increase in human resources and health. Then it can be concluded that the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Kampung KB Program include almost achieving success targets, costs and facilities, and less active participants.
