Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) To describe the planning characteristics of academic supervision during Covid-19 pandemic in SDIT Al Jabar Gondang. (2) To describe the implementation characteristics of academic supervision during Covid-19 pandemic. (3) To describe the evaluation characteristics of academic supervision during Covid-19 pandemic. The method in this research is qualitative descriptive method. The data collection was done using interview, observation, literature study, and online survey. Subjects in this research are headmaster and teachers of SDIT Al Jabar Gondang. Data analysis was done using qualitative analysis which comprises of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity technique was done using triangulation of data. The results of this research show that: (1) The planning of academic supervision during Covid-19 pandemic are: to define the supervision objectives, to create supervision schedule, to define the supervision technique and approach, to choose supervision instrument which will be used for virtual class visit, and to prepare google form for online survey which is needed for supervision. (2) The implementation of academic supervision during Covid-19 pandemic in SDIT Al Jabar Gondang could not be conducted physically, and as alternative solution, a virtual class visit is conducted and an online survey is done using google form. Supervised teachers need to answer the online survey, then the answers will be automatically collected in supervisor’s google drive. (3) The follow up of academic supervision during Covid-19 period in SDIT Al Jabar is done by giving mentoring/training to improve the online learning (PJJ) process.
