Abstract

Writing is a very important activity because it requires creativity and productivity. The seventh grade students of SMPIE Hidayatul Ummah themselves do not master writing skills, seen from the many scores below the KKM. Learning by using google classroom media can make it easier for students to learn. This is the basis of this research with the purpose of this research being knowing the effect of using google classroom learning media on writing skills in class VII in SMPIE Hidayatul Ummah. This study uses a quantitative approach with one independent variable and two dependent variables. Data was collected by using questionnaires and tests and data analysis by means of simple linear regression test, t test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study are the use of google classroom learning media has an effect on writing skills of 0.901 in class VII at SMPIE Hidayatul Ummah.
