Abstract
Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that is the main cause of death. Hypertension is characterized by an increase in systolic blood pressure 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 90 mmHg. Hypertension accompanied by comorbidities is known as comorbid disease. Comorbidities in high blood pressure are diabetes mellitus, gastritis, gout, cholesterol, dyslipidemia. Chronic illness can affect one's relationship to God related to the purpose of life. Spiritual quality has 4 indicators, namely relationships with oneself, relationships with others, relationships with the natural environment, and relationships with God. This study aims to identify the picture of the spiritual quality of hypertension sufferers with comorbidities. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The place of research was carried out in Posbindu and door to door in the working area of Baki Sukoharjo Health Center. The study population was all patients with hypertension with comorbidities at the Baki Sukoharjo Health Center. The sample technique used non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique with the acquisition of a sample of 90 respondents with hypertension with comorbidities. Spiritual quality is measured by a spiritual quality instrument made by the researcher himself. The conclusion of this study shows that the majority are 56-60 years old, the sufferers are female, have elementary school education (SD), and work as housewives (IRT), respondents suffer from hypertension for 1-3 years, the type of comorbidities that occurs most often in patients with hypertension, namely diabetes mellitus, and as many as 84 respondents had a fairly good spiritual quality category with a percentage (93.4%). Hypertension with comorbidities can affect one's relationship to God related to health conditions. This study provides advice and motivation as well as family support to improve the spiritual quality of hypertensive patients with comorbidities.
