Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of Per capita GRDP, Average Years of Schooling, Per capita Expenditures, and Regency/City Minimum Wages on the Number of Poor Populations in Central Java Province in 2018-2020. The results showed that the Random Effect Model (REM) was the chosen model. Based on the F test, the variables of GRDP per capita, average length of schooling, per capita expenditure and the district/city minimum wage together have an effect on the number of poor people. Based on the effect validity test or t test, the variable GRDP per capita has a negative and insignificant effect, the average length of schooling has a negative and insignificant effect, per capita expenditure has a negative and significant effect, and the district/city minimum wage has a positive and significant effect on the number of poor people in Indonesia. Central Java Province in 2018-2020.
