Abstract
Fiber-added materials are fiber-type materials that are added to the concrete tile mixture to provide a high flexural load strength and the concrete tile will be lighter and safer in the event of an earthquake or collapse. Fiber-type materials can be found easily in everyday materials such as coconut coir fiber, sugarcane fiber, palm fiber, glass fiber, iron fiber, nylon fiber and so on. In this literature study, a resume of three studies was carried out to review the effect of the use of additional additives such as coconut fiber, sugarcane fiber and fiberglass on the flexural load and water absorption with varying levels of 0.00%, 1.50% and 2.50% of the weight. sand. From the added material of coconut coir fiber, sugar cane fiber and fiberglass that did not meet SNI, it was found that the fiber added material with the strongest flexural load was fiberglass added when compared to coconut coir fiber and sugarcane fiber, seen from the comparison of the flexural load value that was close to SNI.
