Abstract

Every development work generally has its management method, especially Indonesia, which still uses conventional methods which are known to have several weaknesses, such as the potential for errors to occur and lead to revisions. On the other hand, as technology advances, a method emerged, namely Building Information Modeling (BIM), which is a way to create digital assets by creating 3D objects. Through this method, collision detection analysis can also be carried out to minimize the occurrence of modeling errors. In this research, the researcher uses software core Autodesk such as Revit and Navisworks. For this final project, the objectives include analyzing the difference between the estimated work volume output from Autodesk Revit software with manual estimates, analyzing the difference in making work time between the BIM and conventional methods using the S curve, analyzing the accuracy of the estimated output cost budget from Autodesk Revit software if applied the implementation in the field, and analyze the application of clash detection in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method. Furthermore, regarding the implementation method of this final project, the first is to collect materials and materials from the research object, namely public facilities in the Surakarta city mosque construction project. Next is to do 3D modeling (3D modeling of building objects), 4D (scheduling modeling), 5D (calculation of volume estimates). and budget), and lastly clash detection and then end with the presentation of the results. In this final project, the accuracy of Revit and manual concrete volume calculations is 91.07%, ironwork is 99.85%, and formwork work is 99.19%. Then the scheduling uses Autodesk Navisworks, where every work is connected to 3D objects and animations. Furthermore, the application of clash detection can show the location of design errors which can lead to minimizing revisions and losses.
