Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of understanding of Islamic aqidah by most Muslims in Indonesia. They consider that the cultural customs of the ancestors are the most important thing to follow, inevitably making cultural activities mixed with religious activities are still carried out regardless of the rationale for these activities. In fact, there are many activities carried out by the Prophet SAW which clearly contain benefits and rewards, but because they are used to joining in (taklid) many Muslims, especially in Indonesia, do not know about it. Therefore, this research entitled "Learning Method of Aqidah (Case Studi: Online Learning in Halaqah Silsilah Ilmiah Year 2020/2021)" aims to show how the role of the online aqidah education method carried out by HSI AbdullahRoy is able to increase knowledge, help, and straighten the Muslim aqeedah according to the teachings of the Prophet SAW. This study uses a descriptive type of research and the approach in this study is a sociological approach. Then the data collection techniques were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. After this research was conducted, from the results of data analysis it can be concluded that the learning targets for HSI AbdullahRoy students have been well achieved. Where students are able to understand the true Pillars of Faith and Islamic Aqeedah in accordance with what the Prophet SAW taught. Therefore, students only practice according to the Qur'an and As-Sunnah in everyday life. So, learning outcomes in the online aqeedah learning program at HSI AbdullahRoy are indicated to have been successful in implementing straight Islamic aqidah values in everyday life for students. Furthermore, HSI combines the lecture method by utilizing internet technology to deliver material delivered online in audio form via WhatsApp groups. After students listen and re-record the material, HSI applies the recitation method (assignment) by giving daily evaluation questions related to the material that day. Then the drill method (practice) would be applied by HSI Abdullah Roy in the form of weekly evaluations and final evaluations. What is meant by evaluation here is the provision of practice questions related to the material. The above learning method has been proven to be effective in forming independent study habits and training students' discipline even though it is done online.
