Abstract

The development of potential tourism objects in Selo District, Boyolali Regency is still conventional, which means that the development carried out only focuses on existing natural resources without utilizing creativity in social media. Based on these problems, the idea emerged to conduct a research "Analysis of Tourism Object Dissemination Based on Esri Storymaps (Study Study: Slopes of Mount Merapi and Mount Merbabu, Selo District, Boyolali Regency)". This study aims to determine (1) how the distribution area of tourism objects in Selo District, Boyolali Regency. (2) How to create a Web-based Geographic Information System so that information about the distribution of Tourism Objects in Selo District, Boyolali Regency is more interesting. (3) How is the strategy for disseminating information on the distribution of tourism objects based on WebGIS by utilizing StoryMaps. The analytical method used is spatial analysis because it relates to the distribution of locations or locations which is one of the elements of regional geography. The preparation of Tourism Maps in Selo District based on Esri Storymaps which contains information on the distribution of tourist objects arranged using a shortlist view which is then combined in one cascade display and then produces a web map address. The webgis that was built has the title "Explore Selo District using a Tourist Map" containing the main information in the form of the distribution of tourism objects in Selo District, each object contains a description of the name of the tourist attraction, address, tourism category, entrance ticket price, facilities, operating hours, photos. The dissemination that has been built produces a web address https://bit.ly/WisataKecamatanSelo, disseminated through social media such as: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
