Abstract

Today, the advancement of technology and information is very rapid, and as a result, the public's perspective on the media that provides information has shifted. Website is one form of internet media that serves as a source of information that is needed today. School institutions that require interaction and socialization in order to increase the visibility of schools in the wider community and among their own citizens, especially by providing complete, detailed, and clear information about schools. The purpose of this research is to create a website that allows the general public and school residents to easily access accurate information about SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Colomadu, and which can be accessed at any time and from any location. The SDLC methodology with a waterfall approach is used in this study, which includes requirements analysis, system design, program code writing, program testing, and program implementation. PHP programming language and MySQL database are used in the development of this system, as well as the codeignter framework. The findings of this study are expected to provide the school website at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Colomadu with all the information they need. Black box testing ensures that the developed system functions as intended.
