Abstract

ABSTRACT Larassati/ Q200190001 "The Role of Parents in Online Learning Assistance at MI An-Najihah Babussalam Madiun". Thesis. Master of Basic Education Study Program. Graduate School. Muhammadiyah Surakarta university. 2022 In the current pandemic conditions, the role and function of parents in mentoring learning becomes very important. This is because learning that should be at school is diverted at home. From this problem, the researchers conducted research in such a way with the aim of knowing how the role and function of parents in the online learning process in the COVID-19 pandemic era at MI An-Najihah Babussalam Madiun. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method whose problem-solving procedures are based on the research subject/object that is heard and seen based on the facts. Based on the research that has been carried out, it was found that there were several parents who had different ways of guiding their sons and daughters to study during the pandemic. The role and function of parents in the preparation of online learning at MI An-Najihah Babussalam Madiun has approached the maximum level for their children. There are types of parents who always educate them to be independent in their preparation, process and assessment of learning, some are always guided and some are always prepared by parents. So everyone has a different character in dealing with children during the preparation, process and assessment of online learning. This phenomenon cannot be denied, because every parent has their own way of addressing and guiding their children during online learning. Keywords: Role of Parents, Online Learning, Pandemic Era.
