Abstract
Many students nowadays are fond of Korean dramas, and some even experience addiction by always watching more episodes than previously determined. You can say you are addicted to watching Korean dramas if you have watched more than 6 episodes a day. In this drama, it is certain that the actors have the ideal almost perfect body that is expected by women so that a tendency for body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) arises. The subjects in this study were UMS Psychology active students aged 18-23 years and liked to watch Korean dramas for more than 6 episodes a day. The number of subjects taken was 100 female students using purposive sampling technique to recruit respondents. The research method uses correlational quantitative, data collection tools with a BDD Likert scale and addiction to watching Korean dramas that have been modified by researchers which are then analyzed using Pearson's product moment correlation technique. The results showed that there was a relationship between addiction to watching Korean dramas and the tendency of body dysmorphic disorder in Psychology UMS students.
