Abstract
The success of national development is not only seen from the high rate of economic growth, but the most important thing is the success of human development. Human development is defined as a process for expanding more choices to the population through empowerment efforts that prioritize improving basic human abilities so that they can fully participate in all fields of development. So with this, this study wants to know the Effect of Economic Growth, Unemployment, Regional Minimum Wage and Human Development Index on Poverty in Central Kalimantan Province in 2017-2019 by using panel data regression with the Random Effect Model (REM) approach. The results of this study indicate that partially, the Regional Minimum Wage variable has a significant effect on poverty in Central Kalimantan Province, while the Human Development Index, Economic Growth and Open Unemployment variables have no significant effect on poverty in Central Kalimantan Province. Suggestions that can be given in this study are that the government is expected to be able to. So with this, it is necessary to increase the productivity of human resources so that they are of higher quality and the government is also expanding the business field so that unemployment does not increase and causes high poverty.
