Abstract

This research is motivated because there are many Indonesian Muslim communities who have not been able to read the Qur'an, especially among the youth. Therefore, the NGADEM Community (Ngaji and Sharing) can be a solution to eradicating illiteracy in the Qur'an, especially among youth. In every activity and program they carry out, there are many lessons that can be imitated as an effort to eradicate illiteracy in the Qur'an among young people. This study aims to describe the implementation of eradicating Al-Qur'an illiteracy through the NGADEM Community (Ngaji and Sharing), as well as identifying the obstacles that occur in the implementation of eradicating Al-Qur'an illiteracy in youth in Sukoharjo. The type of research that will be conducted is field research. The approach that will be used in this research is a qualitative phenomenological approach through case study research. In obtaining valid data to support research needs, researchers used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation in the data collection process. Data analysis techniques that will be used in this study apply data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing and data verification. Then, to ensure the validity of the data and the retrieval, the technique triangulation and source triangulation are used. This study concluded that the implementation of the eradication of Al-Qur'an illiteracy through the NGADEM community, for youth in Sukoharjo was carried out through 4 stages, namely the planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring stages. Meanwhile, the findings of the obstacles and solutions to the implementation of the eradication of illiteracy in the Qur'an through the NGADEM community are based on two factors, namely factors whose influence comes from within (internal) and factors whose influence comes from outside (external).
