Abstract

This study aims to describe the factors that influence the decline in the number of students at Al Yaqin Sluke High School, and to describe efforts to increase the number of students at Al Yaqin Sluke High School. The type of research used is qualitative research with data collection methods using observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data used in this study is source triangulation. The data analysis method used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the factors that influenced the decline in the number of students at Al Yaqin Sluke High School were influenced by: Low school quality, lack of educators, community perspective, and less effective leadership. Efforts are being made to increase the number of students by conducting teacher training and friendship in collaboration with alumni.
