Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Village Fund on Independence and Poverty in Jogorogo District. The analytical method used is panel data regression (a combination of time series data and cross section) with a cross section covering 12 villages in Jogorogo District. While the time series data starts from 2016 to 2020. The independent variable used to explain the influence on regional independence and poverty in Jogorogo District is village funds. The results of this study show that village funds have a positive and significant influence on the Village Building Index (IDM) and Poverty in Jogorogo District. Thus, it can be concluded that the fiscal decentralization policy through village funds is proven to be able to increase independence and eradicate poverty in Jogorogo District, Ngawi Regency during the 2016-2020 period.
