Abstract
Sine Sub-district is a landslide-prone area in Ngawi Regency. Located on the slopes of Mount Lawu on the north side which has a topography that varies from flat, hilly to mountainous. Landslides usually occur during the rainy season with high intensity. The research objectives were (1) to make a map of the level of landslide vulnerability in Sine Sub-district, and (2) to analyzing the level of landslide vulnerability with the location of historical landslide events in Sine Sub-district, Ngawi Regency. The research method uses secondary data analysis and surveys. The main approach to geography used is the spatial approach. The data analysis method utilizes a Geographic Information System (GIS) with a weighted tiered quantitative technique approach, overlay, classification and completed with field surveys. A weighted tiered quantitative technique is to value each parameter unit and weight each parameter that causes landslides, namely rainfall, soil type, rock type, slope, and land use. The analysis technique overlay parameters causing landslides and classifications to produce a landslide vulnerability level distribution map. 2 Field surveys for sampling of low, medium, and high landslide vulnerability levels using stratified random sampling techniques. The results of the research were (1) a map of the level of landslide vulnerability in Sine Sub-district. Sine Sub-district has a low landslide vulnerability level with an area of 1,299,317 hectares or 15.7% in Ketanggung, Tulakan, Jagir, Ngrendeng, Hargosari and Girikerto villages, medium landslide vulnerability levels with an area of 5,117,819 hectares or 61.7% found in all villages in Sine Sub-district, and high landslide vulnerability levels with an area of 1,872,799 hectares or 22.6% of the total area of Sine Sub-district are in the villages of Ngrendeng, Hargosari, Kauman, Sumbersari, Kuniran, Sine, Sumberejo, Gendol, Pocol, Pandansari, and Wonosari. (2) The results of the analysis of landslide vulnerability levels show that the villages of Sine, Kuniran, Pocol, and Sumbersari are areas that have medium and high levels of landslide vulnerability, while Hargosari and Girikerto Villages are areas that have low, medium, and high landslide vulnerability levels.
