Abstract

CV. Tani Makmur is the official fertilizer distribution company of PT. Petrokimia Gresik which has not implemented a distribution route system in its distribution process. This causes the possibility of crossing lanes and inappropriate kiosk allocation. The method used is a saving matrix which has 7 stages so it takes time to calculate. While distribution activities by the company occur when there is a demand so that product delivery can occur continuously. Based on these problems, a fast calculation application is needed that is designed using Visual Studio 2013 applications and databases with HeidiSQL. This study aims to design a software to determine distribution routes with estimated costs. The design of information systems begins with identifying the problem until the program is made. The results of this research are in the form of an information system consisting of 11 database tables and 11 main displays and 3 reports. The flowchart of the information system is entering demand data, vehicles and then selecting the results and producing output in the form of considerations, estimates and cost estimates
