Abstract
This study aims to describe how the role of the Village Consultative Body in organizing village governance in Bolo Village, Wonosegoro District, Boyolali Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were the head of the BPD, members of the BPD, the village head, village officials, and the Bolo village community. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. Validity is done by using triangulation techniques (data collection methods) and triangulation of data sources. Indicators of the role of the Village Consultative Body in the administration of village governance include; (1) The role of the Village Consultative Body in managing the allocation of village funds, (2) the role of the Village Consultative Body in the physical development of the village, (3) the role of the Village Consultative Body in empowering village communities. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Village Consultative Body in the implementation of village governance in Bolo Village is good, this is proven to be good in managing village fund allocations, village physical development, and village community empowerment. BPD Bolo Village plays a role in planning and also implementing Bolo Village administration. . then in empowering the village community, BPD Desa Bolo empowers it in three programs, namely; (1) Community independence, (2) Developing village potential, (3) Village community participatory process.
