Abstract

The Surakarta City Government in 2020 has completed the revitalization of bicycle lanes on road sections, one of which is on Jalan Slamet Riyadi - Jalan Kolonel Sutarto, this is aimed at realizing Surakarta City as a Cycling Comfortable City. The objectives of this study are: 1) To evaluate the existence of bicycle lane support facilities on Jalan Slamet Riyadi - Jalan Kolonel Sutarto, Surakarta City. 2) Knowing the distribution of factors that affect the level of comfort of the bicycle lane on Jalan.Slamet Riyadi -Jalan Kolonel Sutarto, Surakarta City. 3) Analyzing the comfort level of the bicycle lane on Jalan.Slamet Riyadi – Jalan Kolonel Sutarto, Surakarta City. This research uses survey and scoring method. Evaluation of bicycle lanes refers to PERMENHUB No. 59 of 2020. Parameters that affect the comfort level of bicycle lanes are influenced by side barriers, shade vegetation, bicycle lane markings, traffic volume, and drainage channel conditions. The level of comfort of the bicycle path is obtained based on the tiered method of the five parameters used. The results of the evaluation of the bicycle lanes that have been carried out show that the bicycle lanes on Jalan Slamet Riyadi - Jalan Kolonel Sutarto are quite good, but in some aspects they are still lacking. The classification of the comfort level of the bicycle lane on the bicycle lane on the south and north sections of Jalan Slamet Riyadi – Jalan Kolonel consists of uncomfortable, quite comfortable and comfortable classes.
