Abstract

Learning theory that seems boring and students who are lazy in following the learning process who only use textbooks are still problems faced by educators when learning at school, so efforts are needed to improve education through the creation of interactive media innovations in learning. This study has the aim of attracting students' interest in learning and knowing the feasibility of products related to Data Communication Standards material equipped with videos in the form of animated motion graphics. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluate). To get user feedback, interactive media were tested individually, first with 2 media experts, where the average coefficient V was 0.88 which was considered valid, and the material expert reliability test was 0.876 which was considered strong reliability. The second trial was to 2 material experts with the average coefficient of V being 0.93 which was considered valid, and getting a reliability test value of 0.815 which was considered strong reliability. The results of the open-ended interview about motion graphic animation interactive media in which students gave positive perceptions and acknowledged that the use of interactive media in this Data Communication Standard material can facilitate understanding of the material because the appearance of the application and motion graphic video is interesting. Students also feel happy after using this interactive media to learn Data Communication Standards material instead of just reading textbooks or modules. The results of the interpretation test conducted on 5 students got a percentage value of 64% which was included in the "Agree" category. Based on the results of the researcher's testing, the product developed is considered feasible to be used as a supporting media in the learning process.
