Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies have an impact on the current education system, where learning media is very helpful in the process of teaching and learning. Development of learning media that is not monotonous one of them, namely, multimedia technology to create a quality learning environment through the medium of text, audio, visuals, and animation. Including Augmented Reality with the use of learning media in the teaching and learning activities can improve learning motivation of students. With the developed learning media Augemented Reality in the material of the routing protocol which is designed to follow the waterfall model. Applications tested its validity to the media experts and material experts. Media experts to get the value of the average 3,56 that goes in the good category, while matter experts to get the value of 5 which is included in the very good category. Test usability was conducted to the students of class XI TKJ SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Boyolali, as many as 7 students get the results of the test to students using a questionnaire system usability scale (SUS) obtained results with grade B. So that the results obtained in the application appropriate for use.
