Abstract

Poverty is one of the problems in a complex and multidimensional economy. So it is necessary to find a solution to overcome or at least reduce the level of poverty. This study aims to analyze the effect of foreign investment, Gross Regional Domestic Product, education level, and minimum wage on poverty levels in Java from 2016 to 2020. The method used in this study is panel data with an ordinary least square approach, and uses secondary data types. The results of the effect validity test (t test) are known that the variables of Foreign Investment and the Provincial Minimum Wage have a negative effect on the Poverty Level in Java. Gross Regional Domestic Product was found to have a positive effect on the Poverty Level in Java. Meanwhile, the level of education does not have a significant effect on the level of poverty in Java.
