Abstract

One of the important aspects in human life is education because it includes the qualities, attitudes, character, and knowledge of a person. Education can also be interpreted as a process of forming mindsets and characters in printing future generations. The existence of the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic has changed the entire order of human life, not in the world of education. Teachers and students cannot do it face-to-face directly. The solution so that learning during the pandemic can still be carried out is to use the distance learning method. Along with the development of technology, there is one alternative or bridge that connects education and technology, namely e-learning. E-learning is an effective system used in the teaching and learning process both in bold and offline learning. The purpose of this research is to develop a web-based e-learning information system at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Boyolali. The technique used in this research is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method which has stages, namely, analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Each stage in the SDLC is carried out sequentially and in stages. The user usability testing phase is carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to determine several aspects of effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction according to what is felt by the user. The SUS test was carried out by giving questionnaires to 30 respondents and getting a score of 76. This means that this e-learning system is feasible to be implemented and can be well received by users. The results of the development of an e-learning information system, provide a lot of convenience to educators in terms of teachers and students in a more effective learning process because it can be done anytime and anywhere.
