Abstract

The existence of Dusun Semilir tourism object has certainly had an impact, both positive and negative impacts. The impacts that have emerged are related to social and economic conditions at a distance of 0-250 meters, a distance of 250-500 meters, and a distance of 500-750 meters. The positive impact of the existence of Dusun Semilir tourism object is being developed, and the negative impact is being overcome. The purpose of this research is to 1). Identify the impact of the Dusun Semilir tourist attraction on the socio-economic conditions of the surrounding community 2). Analyzing the development of positive impacts and overcoming the negative impacts of the emergence of positive and negative impacts caused by the tourism object of Dusun Semilir. The sampling technique used was Stratified Random Sampling and the analytical method used in this study was descriptive analysis with quantitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the impact on the existence of Dusun Semilir tourism object is that there are positive and negative impacts on both social and economic conditions. The positive impacts on social conditions that arise are decreased unemployment, better public facilities, and easy access to transportation, while the negative impacts that arise are congestion, increased crime, and increased unemployment. While the positive impacts on economic conditions that arise are increasing people's income, advancing the marketing of a product for the surrounding community, and changing the livelihoods of the surrounding community for the better than before, while the negative impact that arises is competition between traders who have the same type of business in the surrounding area. tourism objects, increasing land prices around after the existence of tourism objects, and increasing prices for community needs, with the existence of Dusun Semilir tourism objects which automatically attract tourists to visit, it will also indirectly increase the basic needs of the surrounding community.
