Abstract

The implementation of distance learning has been going between three semesters give the crucial impact for continuity learning. Although with a more modern and flexible implementation but with rudimentary preparation actually makes learning boredom for student. Therefore, a teacher strategy is needed to overcone this.This research aims to descibe the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming the boredom of learning and describe the barriers to the implementation of distance learning Islamic Religious Education lessons ini 11th Perhotelan grade at State Vocational High School 4 Surakarta. This type of research is field research, with data-based research approach and the research object is qualitative. Data collection methods that have been used in this research are interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis method have been used is inductive pattern. And the result of the study show that strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming the boredom of learning can be worked through by increase student learning motivation, setting learning objective that are in accordance with the conditions, teaching learning materials with proper learning, using learning platform by E-Learning Management System, using blended learning model, using a proper learning method, using facilities and infrastructure that support the implementation of learning, compile an evaluation with the right types, aspects, and assessment techniques, adequate school support, collaboration with the student parents. While the barriers to the implementation of distance learning Islamic Religious Education lessons is the internet is not smooth, internet quota runs out, student dont understand the teaching material, and lack of enthusiasm for student learning.
