Abstract

Electric power distribution has fundamental problems such as quality, continuity and availability of electric power services to customers. The quality of reliability in terms of electrical energy services by looking at how often blackouts occur with a certain time interval or period. The index of reliability is a measure of reliability expressed in terms of probability. The purpose of this study was to determine the reliability value of the 20 kV distribution system on the BRG-4 feeder from PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Salatiga with the section technique method. Calculation of reliability index in the form of SAIFI and SAIDI mathematically and ETAP simulation. The standard of reliability level that refers to the research is SPLN No. 59:1985. The results of mathematical calculations, the BRG-4 feeder has a SAIFI reliability value of 7.502646 times/year, the SAIDI value is 22.60653 hours/year, while the CAIDI value is 3.01314 hours/year. SAIFI index is 7.6632 times/year, SAIDI index value is 22.5375 hours/year, while CAIDI index is 2.941 hours/year.
