Abstract

Legal responsibility is a must for someone to carry out what has been required of him in a certain way without deviating from existing regulations. The People's Business Credit Agreement (KUR) is financing in the form of working capital and/or investment aimed at UMKM-K in a productive and viable business sector but is not yet bankable or does not have additional collateral. The problem formulation of this research is the process of the People's Business Credit (KUR) agreement at Bank Jateng Klaten and the implementation of the People's Business Credit (KUR) agreement during the Covid-19 pandemic at Bank Jateng Klaten. The research method used by the author is empirical juridical. The type of research used by the author in this study is descriptive research using a description that describes in detail the object of the research to be carried out. The type of data used in this research is primary data. Data collection methods in this research are literature study and interviews. And the data analysis method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The results that can be concluded from this study are that the implementation of the People's Business Credit (KUR) agreement between the bank and the customer is in accordance with the provisions of Article 1 of the Banking Law and Article 1754 of the Civil Code. That the People's Business Credit (KUR) agreement between the bank and the customer has been carried out properly according to the agreement. In addition, the implementation of the KUR agreement during the Covid-19 pandemic has also been in accordance with the government's policy on KUR as evidenced by the provision of relaxation or relief in the form of KUR interest subsidies, postponement of principal installments and extension of the installment payment period.
