Abstract
The prevalence of stunting under five in Ngadirojo Kidul Village in 2020 was 16.46%. Nutrient intake is a risk factor for stunting including macronutrient intake, namely protein, carbohydrates and fat. Protein helps build body cells so it is important in the growth stage. Carbohydrates are the main energy provider. Fat contains essential fatty acids that have a role in the body. Knowing the relationship between the levels of consumption of macronutrients with stunting status in children under five in Ngadirojo Kidul Village. The research is observational with a cross sectional approach. The research sample is toddlers aged 24-59 months in Ngadirojo Kidul Village. The research sample was 50 children under five selected by a random sampling system. Data on the level of consumption of macronutrients using FFQ Semi Quantitative for the last three months and processed using Nutrisurvey. Data on nutritional status of height by age were obtained from measuring the height of children under five using microtoice and calculating z-score. Test the relationship using Spearman Rank test. The level of protein consumption for toddlers in the less category is 52%. The level of carbohydrate consumption for toddlers in the less category is 72%, the level of fat consumption for toddlers in the more category is 58%. The test results of the relationship between protein intake and stunting status showed p value = 0.072. The results of the test of the relationship between carbohydrate intake and fat intake with stunting status showed p = 0.003 and p = 0.018. There is no relationship between protein intake and stunting status. There is a relationship between carbohydrate intake and fat intake with stunting status.
