Abstract

This research is entitled Affordability of Nguter Market Services, Nguter District, Sukoharjo Regency, in this case is the market service sector regarding market mobility which includes the distribution of origin of goods, origin of traders, and origin of buyers. The problems are: 1. What are the characteristics of traders and buyers in Nguter market, Nguter sub-district, Sukoharjo district, and 2. What is the distribution (origin of merchandise, origin of traders, origin of buyers) in Nguter market. The aims of this research are, 1. To determine the characteristics of traders and buyers of the Nguter market, Nguter District, Sukoharjo Regency. 2. Knowing the distribution (origin of traders, origin of merchandise, origin of buyers) in the Nguter market, Nguter District, Sukoharjo Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using secondary data supported by interviews and questionnaires aimed at mapping the distribution of the origin of the merchandise, the origin of the merchant, and the origin of the buyer. The results of the first objective are the characteristics of traders and buyers including knowing gender, age, address, level of education, length of trading business, capital, income, distance of residence, transportation, and the most dominant market traders selling herbal medicine products with a percentage of 62.5 %, and most buyers are entrepreneurs and the most purchased merchandise is herbal medicine with a percentage of 47.2%. For the answer to the second objective, it is shown to find out the origin of the Nguter market goods, the highest in Sukoharjo Regency with 48.6%, then the most dominant traders from Nguter District 80.5%, then the area of origin of the most buyers from Nguter District 68.0%, and for the service level of the Nguter market is good, it can be seen from the participation of the respondent's questionnaire figure of 58.2% as a whole.
