Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial distress condition of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX before and after the covid-19 pandemic and to find out the right strategy in overcoming the financial distress of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX before and after the covid-19 pandemic. The research population is all manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2020. The sample was determined based on the purposive sampling method, the number of samples selected was 155 companies. The data used is secondary data. Data collection using the documentation method on the website www.idx.co.id. Data analysis techniques using the Zmijewski method, Normality Test and Differential Test t-test. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, this study proves that there is no significant difference in the financial distress of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX before and after the COVID-19 pandemic and the right strategy to overcome the financial distress of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX before and after the pandemic. covid-19 is by improving the company's managerial ability to be more professional and able to quickly adapt to the dynamics and changing conditions that occur in the environment.
