Abstract

Advances in technology, of course the role of Information Systems is very helpful in data processing in various fields, one of which is in the field of business, including MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). However, there are still many MSMEs whose sales records still use conventional methods (paper media) so that they often lose sales records, have difficulty finding sales reports, and ineffective sales processes. Like this A3 Jaya Store, which sells various daily necessities (toiletries, food and soft drinks, LPG gas, water gallons, cigarettes, etc.), often has difficulty finding sales reports, stock items that come out. entry, changes in the price of fluctuating goods hamper the process of goods transactions, there is no record of goods coming from the supplier and there is no daily report related to sales. It can be seen from this problem that in building a Website-based Cashier and Sales System it is important to be able to improve sales records. The resulting system is a web-based Point of Sales information system with features such as data on total stock of goods, incoming supplier data, making financial reports, daily / monthly reports regarding incoming and outgoing goods, sales transaction features, features for printing sales reports. . This system was developed with the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language, and the MYSQL (PhpMyAdmin) database as a database server with the Code Igniter framework architecture. The system development method used is the Waterfall method in information system design, starting from analyzing software requirements, design, implementation and testing.
