Abstract
Reading the Qur'an is a virtue and a form of preserving religious teachings revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and it is considered as worship when accomplished, therefore every Muslim is obligated to study and read the Qur'an. The Al-Quran learning process applied at Baitul Hasan Kragilan TPA still uses the book-based Tilawati method, which may have limitations both in terms of media and material capture. Android-based learning is one of the media that can be applied so that students can better master the material. The purpose of this research is to design an android application-based media to help students understand Tilawati material more easily so that it can accelerate students' ability to be able to read the Al-Quran properly and correctly. This research was developed using the stages of ADDIE development. The results of this learning test 1) Aiken's V media test obtained a V value of 0.88, so it was confirmed valid and very reasonable. 2) Aiken's V test of material obtains a V value of 0.90, so it is said to be valid and reasonable. 3) User assessment using SUS obtained 91.66 results, so that the learning media is reasonable to use. 4) Testing The Independent sample t-test that was carried out showed that there was a significant difference in the average/mean value between the two groups, Group A got an average score of 80.667, and group B got an average score of 67.667.
