Abstract
Counseling Guidance at Junior High School is a service process as a control of the progress and activitiesof students at school, while the administrative process of counseling guidance services at Junior High School Negeri 13 Surakarta is still done Conventionally which causes many violations that are not recorded, data is lost in certain documents, requires a long time to prepare and print student data. These things can interfere the guidance and counseling services carried out by the school. The purpose of the designing of the Guidance and Counseling Information System for Junior High School Negeri 13 Surakarta can lighten the workload and facilitate the performance of guidance and counseling teachers as well as increase effectiveness and become more efficient. Therefore, it is necessary to build a Counseling Guidance Information system that covers all the needs of counseling guidance in Junior High School Negeri 13 Surakarta. The design of this information system uses the waterfall method which includes requirements analysis, design, coding, implementation, maintenance. Applications used in the process of designing the Counseling Guidance Information System include Sublime Text 3, XAMPP, and Microsoft Edge. The results obtained from testing the system using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method reached 77,2 this information system was included in the acceptable category so that it was appropriate for the guidance and counseling teacher to use properly and all the available features were running well.
